Since it is housed in a crowded town availability of space was a major constraint. Within the limited space the designers have marvelously managed to erect this wonderful building. They used every technology which would enable them to mask the possible difficulties of limited space.
Designed for two real estate professionals and their two sons the Jarson Residence by Will Bruder + Partners rises as a quiet and imposing structure from the desert surrounding it. Overlooking the McDowell Mountains to the north east this spectacular dream home is dressed in a skin made of weathered steel and cooper pierced by large glazed areas. The cladding fabricates a strong connection to the surroundings while the glass walls and windows framing the views construct a lighthouse effect during the night when the lights are turned on.
Situated in the outskirts of Cape Town in South Africa the residence has been designed to get a wonderful view of the mesmerizing sea and the beautiful mountains. The house built as a sequence of the nearby Nettleton 195 gets its design from Cape Town based studio SAOTA aka Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects.
By choosing a color palette that would compliment the surroundings, the architects dissolved the boundaries between indoors and outdoors and prolonged the dynamic coastline inside. An open floor plan allowed the creation of an L-shaped cooking/living/entertaining zone open to the outside deck and swimming pool. Architectural studio Moon Hoon with offices in Seoul designed an angled residential retreat in Korea. Featuring a distinct facade shaped out of several angled volumes the Panorama House gathers vistas of the surroundings through different-sized windows that frame the views from each room in a new and creative way.The angled facade allows views from different perspectives and strongly connects the interiors to the surrounding suburb.
Designed to meet the needs of one family the western half of the duplex displays a floor plan made out of many rooms. A circular staircase joins the levels in this side.
in is an outstanding structure located on the top of a hill overlooking the mesmerizing South China Sea. Erected on a planar triangular plot by the creative folks from this house has bagged several awards for interior design. The location selected for this house is moderately inhabited and rural.
