Indirect lighting and a light but luxurious atmosphere proved to be the perfect choice for the Sea Shell Residence on Israel’s Mediterranean coast. The interiors of this impressive 7,500 square foot contemporary residence were created by Israel-based studio Lanciano Design. Looking at each of the spaces, a common characteristic of the interiors seems to be the elegant, open spaces filled with ambient lights that create a changing atmosphere.

Built on urban space the Ame Lot is being praised for being ecologically well-disposed. There wasn’t any reconstruction but just some modifications to the one which already existed. This makes the Ame Lot project extremely brilliant.

Located on a hillside the modern Korean house is home to a family with four children who needed a comfortable creative space to grow. The creative interior design features the ground level social areas and the upstairs bedrooms while a fantastic feature ties it all together – a huge wooden staircase with nooks and integrated bookshelves that also serves as a viewing platform for a projection screen. The Panorama House is a dream home for children and adults alike.

Besides the private spaces the common living and entertaining zones gather the family together in a carefully designed atmosphere. Overlooking agricultural fields in the backside the house was created to protect the inhabitants’ privacy while offering them private views over the quiet relaxing surroundings.

Geometries are brilliantly selected to make the building spacious enough out of a given limited area. Horizontal hinges are an example of their innovation and the hinges make the wooden pallets to shrink horizontally. This provides a large opening into the outer world despite the limited interior. Care has been given in every step of the Ame Lot Project to avoid stress on the ecology. And the Ame Lot seems to be an epitome of eco-friendly design.

The house has got a texture of pre-enlightenment period but with all modern facilities. The renovated building was inaugurated in 2010. The soul of the old house has been kept intact with its historical aperture dimensions and proportions untouched. Interior walls are supra-smooth and could reflect light well. This helps save power bill significantly and interiors looks awesome under modern illumination.

Architectural studio Moon Hoon with offices in Seoul designed an angled residential retreat in Korea. Featuring a distinct facade shaped out of several angled volumes the Panorama House gathers vistas of the surroundings through different-sized windows that frame the views from each room in a new and creative way.The angled facade allows views from different perspectives and strongly connects the interiors to the surrounding suburb.
