The by Stephane Malka Architecture near the busy urban streets of Paris has been designed as a modern student residence. The construction is just a remodeling — without changing its original traits — of a pre-existent building. The only things new here are some wooden palettes which impart a new outlook to this structure.
Supported by a steel and concrete skin the interior volumes containing the living and resting spaces can be rearranged by adding or removing rooms. By using locally sourced lark timber to dress up the facade the architects embedded the modern architecture into the surrounding landscape.
Situated in the outskirts of Cape Town in South Africa the residence has been designed to get a wonderful view of the mesmerizing sea and the beautiful mountains. The house built as a sequence of the nearby Nettleton 195 gets its design from Cape Town based studio SAOTA aka Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects.
The house is essentially simple and glass doors and windows virtually blur differences between inside and outside. All units have been decorated with marvelous furniture and natural decorative items. Wooden floors walls and pebbles on courtyard offers exquisite visual treat. Designed for two real estate professionals and their two sons the Jarson Residence by Will Bruder + Partners rises as a quiet and imposing structure from the desert surrounding it. Overlooking the McDowell Mountains to the north east this spectacular dream home is dressed in a skin made of weathered steel and cooper pierced by large glazed areas. The cladding fabricates a strong connection to the surroundings while the glass walls and windows framing the views construct a lighthouse effect during the night when the lights are turned on.
Built on urban space the Ame Lot is being praised for being ecologically well-disposed. There wasn’t any reconstruction but just some modifications to the one which already existed. This makes the Ame Lot project extremely brilliant.
Behind the white volume in the front two distinct residences are united through an interior staircase in the middle with a corresponding set of wider stairs in the front yard placed slightly higher than the garage level. Named the this duplex is located in Stuttgart Germany.
