Spreading over 2200 square foot the Hasharon House is home to a young family and their three children so all the interior and exterior spaces were designed to mirror this and offer each inhabitant personal spaces they can enjoy.
Located on a hillside the modern Korean house is home to a family with four children who needed a comfortable creative space to grow. The creative interior design features the ground level social areas and the upstairs bedrooms while a fantastic feature ties it all together – a huge wooden staircase with nooks and integrated bookshelves that also serves as a viewing platform for a projection screen. Glass windows offer unhindered vision to the exteriors whereas contemporary lighting gives a luxurious feeling to the interior. Geometries are brilliantly selected to make the building spacious enough out of a given limited area. Horizontal hinges are an example of their innovation and the hinges make the wooden pallets to shrink horizontally. This provides a large opening into the outer world despite the limited interior. Care has been given in every step of the Ame Lot Project to avoid stress on the ecology. And the Ame Lot seems to be an epitome of eco-friendly design.
